Ordered something for next day delivery on Wednesday.
Discovered a red note on my doorstep Tuesday* Thursday saying "We'd tried to deliver". I was in and no-one rang the bell. It said on the back of the note it would be ready for collection 24 hours later at my local sorting office.
Went to the sorting office this morning, 25 hours after the "attempt" to deliver, to be told it wasn't back in, and it should be there tomorrow. My sorting office is only open 7-2pm weekdays, and 8-12 on a weekend. I've better things to do than wait in a que for over an hour on Saturday to collect my item, and have paid for delivery, so why can't they actually sodding deliver it?!
Making a complaint feels totally fruitless as they don't give a crap. Short of nuking my sorting office from orbit, is there anything that can be done to sort this useless bunch of halfwits out?

handed card at 11:40 depot closes at 12, got there at 11:57.
