What do you use with a HTC Desire to manage the content on your phone/SD card? I’ve run out of space, but can’t seem to find an easy way to delete things (such as old photo’s etc) apart from choosing each one individually which will take forever!

Plug in the USB cord and do it manually?

Are you talking about the SD card or internal storage?

If the latter, make sure you’re running FroYo (Android 2.2) then install App2SD. This will move applications from internal storage to the SD, but only if the app supports it.

If you run out even doing this, you’re looking at a bigger job.

If you’re talking about the SD card, you can mount it on a PC or use a file manager as others have suggested (I use EStrong’s File Manager).

MY SD card is stuffed full as well, I need to delete/remove photo’s etc, plugging it into a PC is probably the best way I guess.

Shall download App2SD and Astro as well, sure they’ll help 🙂

If you’re doing it on-phone, the SD appears as a /SDCARD mount point in the Linuxy file system.

    Don’t delete anything you don’t understand. (-:
