There is aston hill and some good routes around the chilterns, depends where your coming from though. If your coming from the Alps or wales don’t bother, Norwich then yeah go for it!

There’s the area the Summit MTB club uses to put races on at Lotts Wood, some fun trails there and good for an hour’s spin or so. There’s also Aston Hill not far away, Wendover Woods, and some good trails around the Ashridge estate which is closer to Berkhamstead.

Lotts Wood is a purpose built Mountain Bike course near Hyde Heath, Amersham. It is located 0.5 miles off the A413 between Old Amersham and Little Missenden. Look out for LOTTS WOOD location signs. Visit the racing pages of http://www.summitmtb.co.uk to find a map.
