…going cheap at CRC at the mo, but, are the arms the same as 10sp but with diferent rings if I want to upgrade in the future?

Yes they are, i bet they 9 spd rings would work with 10 spd anyway…

Those links tell us nothing apart from the left hand crank arms are the same. There isnt even a part number for either right hand crank arm.
