Is there much difference from xc forks, and if so,what are these differences ? Thanks

I assume that they're stiffer, beefier and designed to take more punishment. 20mm through axles are also standard

Probably a bit stiffer, less consideration for weight.

Thanks.
It's a set of these (tapered steerer)831s with a 15mm axle.
Building up a frame that will take a tapered steerer and thought I may as well go for a bigger axle at the same time.
Is 1.6kg heavy for forks with that kind of travel ?
