Having now decided to build a grown up bike (29er) i started to check the classifieds on here for parts,,
and suddenly there seems to be an increasing amount of WTD ads for 29er parts,,
so is 2010 going to be the year of the 29er ,,

Yep time to rebel against ickle wheels
Nothing I didn't predict 3 years ago. Everyone is now curious for some man-size bigness in their lives.
No way!
650B.
i will never happen.
too many straight thinking cyclists in the uk.
too many short arses more like
Having just built up Duggie's old frame I say yes!
Highlight was cracking open a beer on the Surly tuggnut, long live tall arses!
right that's it I'm selling my 29er ss and going back to small wheels and gears...it'll be the new niche I'm telling ya
Clown bike and no mistake. Even worse than a tandem.
i predict Specialized will spec 13 and 15 frames with 26" wheels, 17 and 19 frames with 650b wheels and 21 and 23 frames with 29 wheels
21'' frames in a 29r version from spesh are rarer than the rarest of hens teeth.
been looking for one for the last month......
Too late!
2009 was the 29 year.
Notice: 9 & 9? And the 2?
I bought mine 15 months ago and have never looked back.
2010 - S010
Yep, 2010 is the year we try solo racing.
Ade: get with the program; please!
Ton, did you check out my link, they (would appear) to have 21" bikes?
http://www.dalescycles.com/2009_Specialized_rockhopper_comp_29er_p/09rhcd29.htm
duggie, i phoned dales the next day.
guy said the website is out of date.....
2009 was 29er year, the year I sold them!
no, although there is some interest on here. how many do you see out on a typical weekend ride?
i think all the ones being sold are all by small people who thought they would try em out..........and realised they need to grow into man's pant's 1st.............
Is 5'11" small?

Is 5'11" small?
erm..............yes.
5' 11" is tall, in my house.
5'11" is dwarf like
That's it! If 2010's going to be the year 29er's go mega I'm out - FREE to a good home

29er FS bikes are the ultimate niche, thats why I signed up for 2010.
anyone who rides a 29er has issues with their sexuality
Fancy a bum rocketdog?
Mines just being finished.
Been looking at our Spannies 29er Scandal and have to say I'm very tempted.

Spill the beans then
bigsi, yes but i've got low ceilings.

Chuckles.
Eventualy 29ers will slide into mainstream.
Just as front suspension did.
Just the same as full suspension did.
Just the same as disc brakes did.
People are scared of change and it takes them a while to get used of the way things look.
29rs are like bum sex
you either do or you do not.................
ton - Member29rs are like bum sex
And running the risk of getting banned again I'll have to ask if you push back?
I prefer the 69er that Trek made!
