    Hi,
I am upgrading my winter / commuter mtb hardtail.

Looking for a set of forks, probably not the latest models for a new to me frame.
My other bike has Rockshox Reba SL air 120mm with bolt through axle which works great for me.
Mostly for general use and some single track / trail outings.
I don’t want a bolt through or anything too heavy.
Lockout would be good but I don’t often use it on my other bike.
    1.25 steerer. 100mm or up to 130mm
Do any forks allow you to change the travel easily? Without pumps or taking them apart?
Could anyone give me some suggestions on what forks to look out for? reba, revelation, fox 32 etc.
I am not too up on the differences between all the fork variations.
And is a higher end fork with less travel better than a longer travel but lower down the range or would I really notice much difference?

    Thanks Iain
