I’m trying to decide on some new cranks for my 1×10 build, and was looking at:
XTR M970’s, (is it a faux pas to have Shimano cranks and Sram mechs?)
Race Face Deus
and the new Sram X9 cranks to match my mech and shifters

Would the chainline be better with a triple crank or would the double work? Obviously on any of these I would be taking the chainrings off and adding my single ring. Thanks
