Going 10 speed....
Do I defo need a 10 speed chain ring for a 10 speed chain?
Will a 9 speed chain ring be too wide, anybody got any first hand experience?

No, it'll be fine.

No you don't, as above... it'll be fine, all you need to go from 9 to 10 is new cassette, new chain, and the correct shifter. teh left hand stuff just stays the same.

yer inner dimensions are the same only outer dimensions that is different so ok on chainrings
