Upgrade Bikes has just issued a product recall for its winter Racelight carbon road forks that were made and sold between 2003 and 2009. The specific models being recalled include:
- Full Carbon Racelight T
- 12K Racelight T
- Racelight T Full Carbon
The forks are labeled according to this image:
“The known hazard is,” according to Upgrade, “The possibility of bonding failure between fork crown and steerer tube resulting in loss of control or a fall which may result in serious injury.”
Should you have one of the effected forks, Upgrade Bikes, recommends you immediately stop riding your fork. You can then return it to the point of purchase or send it back to Upgrade Bikes in exchange for a new Kinesis DC07 fork.
