Catlike is known for its distinctive helmets. Featuring lots of rounded vents across the front and top, the Whisper helmet is used widely in the pro peloton. Capitalizing on the unique and attractive aesthetic of the Whisper helmet, the Spanish company has released a new line of cycling shoes. (The entire Catlike shoe line was only available in Spain until earlier this year)
The Whisper name appears on both road and mountain bike shoes, and each feature a Velcro closure across the toe, and two Boa systems higher on the shoe. The MTB shoe has a reinforced Nylon tread with removable toe cleats. The external upper is made from synthetic microfiber, and has some reflective detailing. And like its helmet sibling, the shoe features lots (11) of similar roundy air intakes.
