    Starting to think I may ‘need’ XX1. What considerations are there with regard to the different Q factors they offer?

    The narrow one won’t fit many FS frames.

    There’s a compatibility chart somewhere, but getting the wider one is a safe bet! The narrow one won’t fit things like Scott Sparks, so it’s not even the style of bike.

    It’s a bt of a mystery tbh! I had the same dilema as you and couldn’t find any info so measured my existing cranks and got a Q figure of 172 so ordered the wider 168’s.

    I then found the sram guide and the measurements are just confusing as the 168 isn’t actually 168mm!!
