- Work Lunch – Commuting by Bike
Starting hopefully next week I shall be commuting part of my way to work by bike.
I tend to get quite hungry around this time of day, and was wondering if anyone has any ideas for what I should pack for a filling, healthy and tasty lunch?

Tell you what I experimented with, that worked last year – just a massive tuppaware box of fresh salad, pepper, mushrooms, tomato, lettuce, sweetcorn, peas, some nuts, some seeds, drizzle a bit of olive oil, whatever takes your fancy. I’d mix in a tin of mackeral or tuna or salmon, or cube up a load of cheese and wack that in, or a couple of hard-boiled eggs. That and a piece of fruit and/or some healthy cereal bar and you’re good to go. I’m starting a job with a 12 mile commute next week, so really looking forward to clocking some regular miles and eating healthy again. Enjoy! 🙂Posted 3 years ago
