    Sorry for the tyre thread. I don’t want a what tyre for where, I just want to know which is bigger from people’s experience.

    Running an ardent on the back of my bfe and want to try a rq I have sitting in my spares box on the front but only if it is bigger.

    RQ 2.2 carcass is 56mm wide and 56mm tall on a Flow rim at 26psi. The knobs make it taller but no wider. FWIW a X-King 2.4 carcass is 57mm wide and 52mm tall on the same rim at 30psi. You’ll have to measure the Ardent yourself!

    I have 56mm across by 55mm high running at 23psi also on a flow. Should be fine…

    I have both – the RQ will buzz the brace on my rebas, the Ardent doesn’t (but only just!)
