Is that a yolk or something? The price doesn’t seem quite white, but I suppose I could shell out for that!

There you go. Three puns. Now, where are my eggs?

Pasta I guess. You can do pretty much anything with it. Actually, maybe potatoes for the same reason. Baked spuds are awesome.

Like tiggs, I favour the cheap/discounted malt loaf. Morrisons’ value @ 28p was a daily snack.

On the cheap=>free foodstuffs, dandelion leaves rather than the tiny £1 bags of rocket.

Not cheap enough? £3 will get me 36 and that’s no yolk.

    Drac, really?

OK, so he didn’t have a great game last weekend, but that price seems almost insultingly low.

He’s Billy and he’s bloody annoying (obviously rugby – he’s wearing the England kit and don’t pretend you can’t see that!).

Do cherry tomatoes count as cheap? Cos I eat them every day.

Dried noodles, boiled then fried in oil with soy sauce and Healthy Boy Brand (really) sweet chillisos.

The msg/salt/fat levels will likely kill you, but you’ll get better.

Mcvities choc digestives when they are on special for £1 (which seems to be quite a lot)

God knows how many calories per pack – but I can’t resist the thrifty goodness and always polish off the whole pack in an evening

Is bovril cheap? Marmite doesn’t seem very cheap.
I like so many cheap food stuffs not sure I could pick 1.
I guess in a 2for1 I could say porridge oats, a big bowl of porridge is the best biking breakfast and a very good midride snack flapjacks, both need dried fruit added tho.

pretty sure when I was a student there was a baked bean price war, someone was selling them for -1p a tin*

*offer limited to 1 per person per visit, must be bought in conjunction with something else, may just be a publicity stunt, blah blah
