Is that the same as Jai-alai?

Great seeing a Pelota game. The sound when the ball hits the hands is awful. It’s a hard ball and the courts are huge so it’s a hard, hard hit. Madness. The one with the basket is played more on the French side of the border, certainly around here, and is super fast. We live next to a court.
