  • What to do with my Merida Team FLX 3000D full carbon MTB – break or sell?

    Hi all STW-ers, I have a beautiful Merida Team FLX 3000D carbon bike in works colours, its the hard tail bike used by the Merida team in the XC world cup. Its a great bike apart from it is too big for me – its an 18″ frame and I need a 16″.

    It has full Shimano XTR gear, crank bros flat pedals, fizik arione saddle, mavic 717 wheels tubeless-ready, hope disc brakes, Fox vanilla shocks and hutchison tyres. Also has carbon bottle cages. Currently set up with a v brake a la Guhn Rita Dahle of the Merida team but I have the lever, disc wheel etc to put it back to a front disc set up.

    Any ideas on either selling whole, breaking or swapping for something smaller?
