£280 – damned good price, but surely a bit naughty of crc to claim that rrp is £440 when they’ve never been retail forks, only oem.

Still a good price if you’re happy with the standard spring.

Crc might, but they’ve prob got limited stock. so in 6 months if theres a problem all they can do is replace them but with what ? as crc are prob selling oe forks so they should be sold with full bike builds. Hence no warranty(outside crc anyway). Fox purchased through a authorisised dealer is covered by a worldwide warranty.

Surely the same applies when you buy a full bike with these on it? Who you gonna go to in 12 months when the forks on your Giant/Specialized/Marin fail? They aren’t gonna keep stocks either.

If there bought with a full bike build from whatever bike company they will be covered by the fox warranty people wherever you are in the world.
