Ha, now it’s an interesting fact so even if correct, you lose

Had a bit of a google – it’s better than working – and you’re correct. Loser.

It’s not my fact, there’s got to be a bit of win in there somewhere. 🙂

The longest palindromic word in the Oxford English Dictionary is the onomatopoeic tattarrattat, coined by James Joyce in Ulysses (1922) for a knock on the door.

the ‘Candle in the Wind’ that Elton John released and promoted as a charity record in commemoration of Princess Di’s untimely demise was actually a double A side and he took all the money for the other, generic crappy Elton John song on the AA side.

NASA recently completed it’s investigations and concluded that Hora has actually been abducted by aliens, in the past. Further evidence suggests those aliens subjected Hora to inhuman experiments. However subsequent tests to assess any long term side effects to Hora have been inconclusive.

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, was just called “Star Wars” when it came out – they added the rest when they were making Empire Strikes Back.

George Lucas has said that he wrote this huge multi-generational story in the mid 70’s but thought chapter 4 was the most complete so many the first film based on that – but he was lying.

I went to see this when I was 7 years old, in 1978 and remember vividly that the title sequence stated episode IV back then. I questioned my dad about it asking him if we’d missed the first three episodes.

There are only two golf balls on the moon.

Contrary to most trivia quiz question packs that would have us believe that there are three. The astronaughts filmed three shots but they fluffed the second shot so retrieved the ball and had another go.

    Yawn.
