When it comes to sizing, if you fall between sizes, is it better to go slightly tighter or slightly roomier?

(Obvioulsy there’s nothing better than trying one on, but I’m hunting on eBay for a bargain as I don’t expect to be using it much, and I already have a decent wetsuit for surfing.)

    Thanks

I think smaller usually, as stretchy is better than saggy, I suspect it depends on brand though. If you’re used to surf wetsuits you will find even a correctly fitting one a tight bugger to put on.

Going by sizing charts I’m well into the large range. In reality, a medium in a brand that’s suppposedly sized on the small size, I fit a medium with room to spare.
