I loved my Action Man Pursuit Craft (No. 4 on page 17), it was a brilliant toy that you could turn into anything as long as you wanted a car, boat or jet. Probably one of the most played with toys I had.

Yes I was quite shocked when I popped in for some lightbulbs the other day and had to search for them on a tablet. At my age!

So where do I find the equivalent for the Kays catalogue? Just to compare prices that is.

Wasn’t there another one in the eighties or nineties that was like Argos? Pretty much the exact same idea really.

Yes, there was another catalogue shop. Can’t for the life of me think what its name was. I remember going to the Maidstone branch in Kent.

Don’t buy sod all from Argos anymore. It’s either eBay or Amazon.

Ironically the local Argos is great to pick up your out of hours eBay click and collect stuff though.👍

Bindun – were you busy checking the Freemans catalogue at the time?

How come this was closed before anyone managed to say that it was the Freemans catalogue that needed laminating?……………

I noticed that on a few things I looked at. Wonder if that’s to do with most of it being made over here back then so seemed expensive at the time where as now it’s all made in the fair east so has essentially stayed the same price but is actually cheaper in real terms?
