Anyone know what’s in it? It’s been there, untouched, for weeks. Looks like it might contain someone’s cremated remains to me, but I’m not brave enough to look 😐

Er, I can only speculate. Perhaps it could be the remains of Pip’s dog? I sometimes saw his widow dog-walking when I walked my dearly departed but that was some years ago. Certainly the urn is a similar size to mine.

Also at this time of year an adjacent tree used to be festively decorated.

No, don’t look. That would be disrespectful.

looks too small to be anything other than a pet friend to me, i agrree with cg it would be disrepectful to look. In fact i am amazed it has been there as long as it has without either vanishing or being broken.I know it has definately been moved so maybe someone has looked already, but whatever, at least it still remains in tact for someones cherished memories.

Some of my dog’s ashes were scattered in the pond beside the covered reservoirs, near Upper Star Post. She loved to swim there. The remainder of her ashes I keep in my bedroom.
