I miss the old rooty ending to Barry’s. In fact, whilst understanding the need for the new route, I miss the old Barry’s full stop 🙁

Amen, I would always start never quite sure if I’d be able to finish, I rode, walked and stacked that slope in equal measures. And when I did finish it was all the way to the house. But it wasn’t “Barry’s”.
