What technique is the least faff when taking a back wheel out? (and putting back) while messing about yesterday I didn’t really find a good technique. Bike is 10 speed.

If you have a Hope hub convert it to a bolt in.
Then you just remove the bolts and the wheel falls out the bottom of the frame.

Can still be tricky getting the wheel in and out without unbolting the brake caliper.

I’d like to have a hope hub and it’s a matter of time before I swap. In the mean time I shall bear with it not a real big deal really.

    Put into top gear
Remove the chain from the front ring and let rest between crank and frame
Loosen QR and pull back on rear wheel until clear of dropouts
Lift chain from top gear on cassette and over QR ‘nut’
    Job done

    Install in reverse sequence
