Im looking for Tubeless Ready 29er wheels for my Titus EVO Ti Fireline I'm building. The Superstar Sentinel/Tesla wheel set is top of my list at the moment. Any experiences out there with these?

I bought a set in April for my Corratec hardtail/.
Within 40 miles the rear was returned as the freehub failed.
A few hundred miles later and I've had to send the rear back again. I suspected the freehub but was told that a pawl had broken.
Both wheels have needed truing/tensioning
The next time anything fails I'm sending the pair back as not fit for purpose and a refund.

My recommendation would be to avoid them like the proverbial plague

If it's Superstar, it's worth avoiding.

Cue usual suspects with the Dave Hinde defence; "Well, I had no trouble"

Hmm, fully aware of the long term reputation of Superstar. The reviews on these wheels are positive though.

The reviews on these wheels are positive though

Do you mean the reviews on the Superstar site or some other unbiased source with a large enough userbase to be representative?

Most complaints I've seen have been around build quality of the wheels or early life failures of freehubs. The rims seems sound so if you're prepared to true/tension yourself and take a punt on the hubs they could be a good option.
