    I had a old set and they were okay, ran a few chains on them until they wore out.

    I had a old set that came with old Aerozine (now discontinued by SS, probably due to poor design & quality) and the rings were pretty soft. Shifting was average. I bought hard anodised Middleburn rings after that which lasted longer.

    Tried a large ring, wore it out, not impressed realy.

    I had a middleburn one. You could see marks on the teeth after one ride. Wasn’t impressed
