If you are serious then you really need to sit down and do this properly. I’ve been in the design industry for over 13 years (branding and corporate ident programmes of SME and multi-nationals) and I’ve seen (and had to work with) some pretty dismal business names in the past.
Sit down and think about who your target audience are, what are THEY into? What are THEIR tastes? Don’t try to be all-things-to-all-people and DO NOT choose based on YOUR tastes alone. Do this properly and betters still, hire a professional — it really doesn’t have to cost the earth (and certainly cheaper than doing it two or three times over because you messed up the first time).
