I have had last few pairs of Ridge gloves start shedding stringy elasticky stuff on the finger seams after a few months. I will take them back to LBS again, but find it weird that this has happended to a few pairs – even if I hand wash rather than machine it still happens.

No problems here after probably a year. Starting to wear a little around the tips of the fingers, probably from a few crashes but aside that all fine…good pair of gloves imo; would buy them again

yep, goldish stringy stuff – glue I guess ? might see if they stop doing it/fall apart this time

I think they’re some sort of thread which you don’t normally see because they’re masked by the black.

Previous couple of pairs of ridges didn’t do it, though.
