We are planning a snowdon ride.

The main option I think is LLanberis->Snowdon->Ranger Path (not to bottom) and turn north over pass to LLanberis.

Any idea how long that might take (for OK fit riders)?

Is the option of going down the Rhyd-Dhu path and back up the Ranger Path to join the LLanberis return pass at all sensible or is that biting off too much. It only adds another 200m of ascent so might not be too bad.

We need to avoid the ban times if after May 1st of course.

I did Snowdon on the weekend. We did Llanberis Path – Summit – then were going to come down the ranger then cut across telegraph valley. We missed the turnoff for the ranger so just went all the way back down the llanberis again.

It took us 2hrs 45mins to ascend and 35 mins to descend. We were slowed down in parts by the walkers though.
