As per previous post, I’ve decided to put my spare XT disc brakes onto the Roadrat. I did it this afternoon and all’s ok in terms of fitting but I’ve got serious pad rubbage both front and rear. Now the beauty of Shimano brakes is setup is a doddle – hold lever so pads are on the disc and tighten calliper bolts knowing it’s all the right place. So not sure what the problem is here. I got the bike direct from Cotic so not sure if the mounts need facing or not…

Anyone else had this problem/got a solution?
