Looking at something lightish, warm and that won't break the bank and come across the Robens Downlite 500 at Cotswold Outdoor for just £89.

Never heard of them though, any experiences out there?

    Ta 🙂

This may or may not help but….

We bought a Robens tent over 10years ago. The guy in the shop told us that it was an unknown brand in the UK but really good quality. He reckoned that, if this particular tent came from a 'name' manufacturer, it would have been twice the price. It was obvious from the build, even just things like zips, pegs etc, that it was well-made and it's still going strong.

As far as I know they've remained a small brand in the UK (are the German?). In fact, I think this thread is the first I've seen of Robens in the last 10years.

So… if it were me, I'd give it a whirl.
Of course, the company/brand could have changed hands a number of times in the last 10years
