Bought a new Reverb and had it in the LBS for a Bleed and took it out today and the post wont come back when it was dropped,The bar switch seems to not be fully extended and having been bled so recently i havnt a clue what can be causing it.ive checked the air pressure,used the speed switch too which hasnt fixed it,

Is the seat collar a tad too tight? I nipped mine up too much once and it wasnt returning as it should.

Problem was if it wasnt nipped up it slid down inside the seat tube,

I watched him doing it and it was two syringes one in the post and one at the lever and he pushed and pulled it then closed it off,it worked when i left the shop

it does the same even when the post is out the frame

Need to have the speed adjuster fully open, lever pulled out and push and pull the fluid through a few times, close the speed adjuster and repeat, then open again and repeat.

Hain, do you have the bleed kit? It’s pretty simply to do if you take your time.

Yes mate it’s in the box,I’ve seen posts about found it with one syringe

I had the same issue earlier today…try removing the seat post from the frame, that should isolate the problem between bleeding, tight seat post clamp or an issue with the the hose. I think I have a kink in the hose as the post extends and retracts when out of the frame but not when in the frame.
