    OK guys & girls,

    There is a prize* going for anyone who can find a video of an old advert for me. The rest of the family are too scared to take me on at Texas Hold 'em after losing £30k to me last night so Xmas discussion has turned to old adverts The unanimous favourite is the Knorr stock cubes ad. from the 1970s

    "Pea and ham? From a chicken? Now that's clever!"**

    Can't find it on the web – can STW do better?

    * a Chomp bar
    **possibly only shown in Scotland

    I found that one Bruneep but that's not the one I'm after.

    It stars "Hughie" and a chicken who was possibly called "Moira".

    The one you've posted is a later one, possibly early 80s.

    Is that not a baxters soup ad?

    Ignore me, I may have been drinking heavily.

    Pretty sure it's for Knorr stock cubes.

    Now I'm starting to doubt myself…

    Apologies for a slight hijack, can anyone remember an ad in the 70's where Robert the Bruce is in the cave with the spider. It concludes with the tag line. 'Oot ma way spider, I've got work tae dae'

    Hmmmm…

    Vaguely remember that McM, but I can't place it.

    Do you think we've stumbled across the only things that the web doesn't know?

    Was the Robert the Bruce advert for a Mars bar?

    It might have been for Scottish Blubell matches or a Lager. I think there was a 'I cannae get the matches tae light' moment too. Might be a different ad.
