To work outsid ein the dark (no outside light) – cheap head torch?

2nd above, cheap, high quality, bright as you like and other nice touches.

Mine lives in my pack as an emergency get home/trail fix light.

Price has gone down this year as well.

any petzl headtorch should do the trick, i use a petzl tikka xp, i use this for night running and so is very powerfull however it is slightly heavy.

as an alternative (sorry don't know if you have cable) but I have a couple of light bulb holders with clamps, so with an ext lead and 4waybrick I can have a light hanging at either end of the bike and can move and clamp as reqd

I've got one of these;
