As per the title. Need somewhere to stay for a couple of nights one weekend in May. We are thinking of doing Nan Bield Pass and Whinlatter. Just needs to be able to put up with 8-14 mtbers (numbers to be confirmed), have somewhere to store the bikes if possible, not mind some mud and be within walking distance of a real ale selling establishment!

    Cheers in advance!

    Try Lakeland House in Coniston.
Stayed there last week and they were more than happy to stor muddy bikes and welcome bikers. Nice village too with a selection of pubs. (check out the bull if you like real beer)

Denton House in Keswick is always good. Cheap, loads of space, bike storage, and within walking distance of beer/food/more beer/gear shops/even more beer.
