    Hi

    I’m looking to upgrade the rear shock on my Cove G Spot (currently a DHX Air 5) i’ve been looking at a DHX RC4 or a Cane Creek double barrel.

    Any advice experience would be greatly appreciated

    Why not get one of each and you can decide for yourself?

    Either will be an improvement over the DHX Air.

    An RC4 fitted with a ti spring and custom tuned will be pretty much comparable with a CCDB.

    That said, I’ve got a CCDB with a ti spring, and perhaps it’s just placebo at the moment, but i think it blows my DHX 5 and RC4 out of the water.

    I would go with a CCDB, but make sure you get a ti spring. Even with the ti spring mine weighs 800g without spacers.
