Cider vinegar – but it tastes and smells absolutely foul. I used it once and it worked almost immediately. I've had sore throats since but would rather put up with the sore throat!

Try diluted TCP then but bit like the cider vinegar you may prefer the sore throat.

Warm salt water every 4 hours, simple pain relief. Avoid really cold drinks. Eat normally, don't stick with soft foods etc.

Sounds like a throat infection. I had one a year ago, remedies didn't work, couldn't sleep for 3 nights, tears running down my face. It was truly a miserable experience. A visit to the Dr's and antibiotics prescribed and I was right as rain again.

i always swear by some of Dr Phillips' patented spunk throat gargle, comes with its own handy applicator…just shake and apply…..

I find that paracetamol is really effective for throat pain. Get some otc stuff life solpadeine 8mg codeine / 500mg paracetamol.

Gargling soluble aspirin does it for me

this is getting miserable, just tried to play a couple of songs and lost my voice completely half way through the second song, anyone lend me a throat for this sunday at the BBB!! 🙁 😕 😳

Gargle salt n' water, go to bed early and have plenty of protein, relax from stress and admit no matter what it will still **** take a day or two to mend.

Paracetamol will make symptoms bearable if you have some special occasion etc.

steak for dinner and an early night for sure, been knocking back the paracetamol & dequicane with reckless abandon for the last couple of days, I fear amputation may be my best option!!
