How’s about 14/11 Watt (100/60Watt equiv) Philips Energy Saving Bulbs, with a 10 year warrenty for 78p each… not bad eh?

Well try 10 for £1, yes 1 pound… near the checkouts of your local Dunelm, m8’s got there from the Oldbury branch yesterday and I got some from the Worcester branch today.

I bought some of these for £2 each, not long back in a Wickes, after seeing them in B&Q for £5 each!

Lidl had an offer the other day.
    buy 1 for 49p or 5 for 40p

yes, buying 1 was more expensive than buying 5!

Yeah I bought 5 from Lidl even though I’ve got loads of spairs including some sent by Npower; seems they’re throwing them about.

OTOH my wife came home from work with a box full of filament bulbs (they make them) but not sure what to do with them.
