Take a look on Rutland Cycles.

Are they any good? All the reviews I’ve found just say ‘good all round tyre’.
    Anyone care to expand?

These aren’t the ‘officially’ tubeless ready ones. The ‘team issue’ ones are those.

EDIT: I take it back they are TLR! What’s the difference, sidewall strength? weight?

Nice, I’ve got these on my 29er, good fast all rounder, go up very easy tubeless, 4 for the normal rrp price of one! 😀

I think the expert version are a bit heavier with thicker sidewalls – not a bad thing imho

Are these a bit draggy for rear use? Unfortunately they dont have the XR3 at the same price.

Thanks OP, just ordered a pair.

Good grippy tyre for the front , all year round use.

Been using these XR4. Tyres for a while now.

Good rear tyre for the winter months, but will change to something like a Maxxis Ardent Race on the rear for spring / summer riding.

Glad peeps have found it useful.

Can’t imagine them being too draggy. Certainly seen people running then front and rear and I’ll likely use one next winter once my HD dies.

I use the Team version F&R on my Ragley. I originally got them for winter but they’re so good I just leave them on all year round.

As the tyres were so cheap, I thought it sensible to pay £1.99 for express delivery so they get dispatched today hopefully.

I got a dispatch email yesterday evening, with royal mail tracking link. Cheers for the heads up OP.

If anyone wants a couple, I’ve got two turning up that I don’t need (impulse buy) I phoned rutland to cancel the order, but they had already been shipped this morning.

Your’s for £15 + postage (probably a couple of quid with a cheap courier)

    Email in profile.

Mine arrived this morning. Was a pain fitting to my Ryde rims. 60g lighter than a 2.4 High Roller 2. Not sure the difference to the Ardent 2.4 on the back yet.

Seem comparable size wise to the Maxxis.

So about 100g heavier than the 2.4 Ardent, but a smidge wider across the tread too.

Installed one on my fs to replace a purgatory I put a large slit in earlier today. Used it last week on my 905-seemed good but too wide for that bike. Perfect for my fs though. Glad I ordered as I’d have been stuck!

Have just had to email Rutland as one of them is badly mishapen side to side. Have refitted several times, beads are seated even but massive wobble side to side that actually prevents the bike being ridden no handed.

Fitted mine last night. Went on and stayed up with a track pump and no sealant. Great size, larger than the 2.3 Maxxis they’ve Replaced so perfect for my HT. thanks OP for the PSA.
