Flashy - I didn't know you were a Huey Lewis & The News fan!
I admit, I'm a bit of a ponce on this. I had 5 different fountain pens on the go, but I wasn't writing enough to use them all enough to stop the ink from drying out.
I've consolidated down to one fountain pen and a pencil - a Pilot Capless Fermo with black ink and a Pilot S20
I use a Rhodia webnotebook too, nicer than my old Moleskine
You could have hours of fun prodding your pencil into that shiny beaver
I have a Rotring 800, but it's started sticking after a year when you wind the point in. Bit annoyed tbh.
Great pencil tho
I have a 3D printed Aerospace grade titanium pen which I designed and built myself.
Technically, given the time required to complete the design+build, it cost around £3k 😳
Sounds like a bargain
I've got another awesome office gadget, a Swiss Business Tool! (stapler, (single!?) hole punch, scissors, staple remover, knife)
Penis land.
I clicked, the first thing I read is "We specialise in wood". 😀
More seriously,
Everyday pens are Cross Townsends, black with bold trim.
I then have some vintage Pelikans, Conway Stewart lacquers, and Parkers.
Dirty, guilty secret....Pilot G2.
Moleskin (work logo) or Black & Red notepads.
Oh, and all the paperclips I want! Free! Yay! 😉

Can you still get the massive plastic ones? No practical usage but they looked cool...
DP.
My job means quite a bit of note writing and logbook filling. Day to day I can't do without my Lamy Vista. Certainly not a posh pen, but £10 for a plastic ballpoint retractable means I always look after it. Can't stand the cheap nasty pens that are bought for us.
I have a nice Mont Blanc too. Somewhere!
My current pen of choice is a TWSBI diamond 580al. It's great, the cap screws on so doesn't go rattly and is airtight so the nib doesn't dry out. The reservoir is huge and lasts a few days. I write a lot at work.
My pilot capless usually is the favourite but I dropped it again and need to buy a new nib. Ouch.
The lamy studio is relegated to spare as the lid went slack and doesn't stay on.
There's a kaweco sport somewhere which is a really nice compact pen but it doesn't have the optional clip so isn't getting used.
I'm not brave enough to buy anything more expensive, it might get dropped or lost as I don't work at a desk.
Leuchterm notebooks (A5, dotted) FTW
I  Parker 51s.
So elegant.
Couple of Mont Blanc fountain pens in daily use, one is a retractable like flashinthepans, good excuse for blotting paper, although some Moleskines have a sheet included (nice). What colour ink do similar "old farts" use, I have one blue-black (gentleman's colour choice) and one red just because
Lamy 2000 Extra Fine fountain pen is the finest writing instrument on earth. I love mine and my equally pen geek daughter uses hers every day for her A-levels. To be fair all Lamy stuff is good.
Moleskine notebooks are the best I have found, but with a little stick on pen holder.
Use Mont Blanc roller ball pen at work, fountain pens are too much faffage for me. I use lilac ink as we are supposed to only use black and I like to be a pita.
Notebooks and pads from Fabriano for a bit of style
Oooh lilac ink. Must try
Kaweco summer purple is good for annoying colleagues
........as we are supposed to only use black and I like to be a pita
My new personal hero and example to us all. I salute you, Sir!
Just ordered some Lavender Purple for the MB.
'For delight - Sweeping fields of Lavender Purple bring beauty and lightness to the heart'
So says their website 😯
Had all the big FP names in past corporate life as part of the uniform - now disposed of. If I was paying with my own money today it would be the TWSBI - Great writer, looks and value for the fountain pen lover over all models.
Current favourite is a Pilot Custom Heritage 92. Lovely springy and smooth writer. Currently wondering if I can in any way justify a Custom 823...
P.S. If anyone wants a TWSBI 580 AL Fine let me know. I don't really get on with mine and I have plenty of other pens.
My everyday writer is a cheap fine nib Pilot I got off ebay years ago, I can't remember the name of it G something or other I think.
Edit- Pilot 78G
Lovely to write with, need to get myself a vanishing point when I can spare the cash, the clicky would make it perfect.
Drac +1
That reminds me I need to order some more.
I've also got me a Porsche fountain pen like this:
Which is lovely, but a bit of a PITA for every day, refilling etc. Being a lefty I also tend to smudge it a fair bit. I started to fray too, a couple of the 'fibres' split, which leave really sharp ends, ended up having to file it a bit, kind of annoying given it had only light use.
Now have a Mont Blanc Starwalker Ultimate Carbon roller ball, which I absolutely love. Yes Flashy - a crabon fribe pen!
It's ridiculously excessive, but I think it's awesome!
Oooh, yeah; those Uniball pens are really nice to write with.
I use a Cross Click with a gel internal.
Perfect weight and doesn't take up any room.
