Brought-up around aircraft (father was a pilot and an arms dealer MD of an Avionics/Aeronautical manufacturers), so nearly considred life in the RAF…

Personally, I’ve always had a soft spot for the bonkersness that is the Fairey Gannet:
folding wings, Twin turbojet engined contra rotating props, turn one engine (and prop) off to coast around saving fuel, one bloke sat in the back on his lonesome looking at the radar screen – does it get madder?
How about some significant planes which don’t ever seem to get featured on these threads – somewhat surprisingly since at least 2 out of 3 are quite aesthetically pleasing.
