Not in the league of some of the above, but I’m pretty happy with…

It was actually at the beginning of September. 2nd I think… Went back the next day to see them bathed in morning sunlight, instead of being blinded by the sunset!

I got a couple of decent ones at sunset, which I’ll try to get on here sooner or later. I was slightly amused at the number of people trying to persevere with tripods in a gale though! No tripod made would hold a camera steady in the weather I was there in! I just shoved the ISO up and an ND Grad on the front, and hoped for the best, which seemed to work well enough.

    Cheers bikebouy :)

zokes, I saw loads of amateurs (like me) using tripods for sunny daylight photos…couldn’t understand why! I only ever need my tripod for shots in the forests, or the second one above which was taken in a glow worm cave :)

polarisandy, is there a way to contact you? (nothing in your profile).

Spent a few hours looking at your images this morning. I’d like to use some (12) of them for our company calendar (printing company) in exchange for something.

    Email in profile if interested.

    Cheers

MarkF, tell me about it..It’s as if flickr want to get rid of all their customers.
I spend less time on there as the days go by.
Not all bad though as it’s prompting me to sort my own website out and get on with the business of selling photos.
    Shame though.

My recent trip to see a mate in Glasgow resulted in some fine riding at Kirroughtree, Drumlanrig and the Carron Valley. I’m equally proud of the photo’s and my riding :D

Composition is not ideal, but it really captures the intensity of the goal shot.
