John climber – what exactly were you storing in that balloon?

Don’t worry it’s water from the water butt that’s come off the roof.

Quite happy with this one taken a couple of days ago on a pre-work ride at 6am ish – just on a pretty crap mobile camera.

wasn’t sure if working photographers are allowed in this thread but this i was pleased with mainly as it’s so simple and just one light and a reflector. shot for a small bespoke road bike brand called comtat.

I like that, MrSmith. Also like the simplicity of the Tay Bridge disappearing into the gloom

Cheers Zokes, the simplicity and calm are what appealed to me too (useful after the day I’d had at work!).

Tay bridge is all the more poignant when thinking about it’s history.

Cracking stuff over the last few pages. Polarisandy going great guns as always.

Just back from camping in Dent in the Yorkshire Dales. There was a gala on, and we entered our scruffy mongrel into the just-for-fun dog show, just, well, for fun.

He won the most handsome dog, came third in obedience and also got best dog in show :-D Som of the locals wre less than happy… “What kind of a dog is he? Oh, he’s just a mix then? Sniff”. Here he is with his cup and made in China medals.

It’s a crap photo, but interesting subjects (if you’re a plane geek).
Two planes made by Avro, Top right, Anson. Bottom left, Vulcan.
