Had a job at the fair – was a challenge as I haven’t done much of this type of thing. Client seems happy enough…

Pretty pleased with this shot of my son picking Strawberries on Friday. A few clouds in the sky would have been nice though

And i captured this glorious sunset last Wednesday in Horning, Norfolk while Pike fishing. Moments like this make the world all good 8)

I don’t know anything about these things but I think it may be a Large Red. It sat there for quite a while. At one point it disappeared for about two seconds and came back with a moth in it’s mouth. Unfortunately my lack of macro flash means it’s really difficult to get any depth of feild so this is the best of about forty shots.

Have bought some stuff from Grays, a D700 and lens.
Do a search on Ebay and compare the price against Grays, then work out if the difference is worth the hassle.

    The F4 looks very nice.
Woud be interested to hear what you would want for it.

Great stuff polarisandy. Like the shot of the boy above. Had a look at your Flickr, makes me want to dig out my f80 and and run some film through it.

Polarisandy – I’d like to PM you but not sure how to go about it. I’m happy to sell the F4 together with its Nikkor 28-85mm F3.5 lens. Where abouts are you based? I’m in Cumbria. I was digging about in the bag of gear from my fathers and have come across an immaculate Hasselblad 500cm with 80mm and 105mm lenses!! Think I’ll be keeping that one, having been inspired by some of your ‘blad shots posed here.

Be good to hear from if you’re interested in the F4.

A rather tired and shabby-looking Marbled White butterfly.

Marsh Helleborine, one of our prettiest native orchids.

I love this little seat, it looks out onto a fabulous view. I can sit here for ages, just looking…

…down onto little details like this, the church of the tiny hamlet of Calstone Wellington
