I’m going to be presumptive and assume you mean the apples, so thank you. Regarding the Dutch masters influence, yes, but ironically I had this in mind when setting it up:
An utterly abortive trip to Snowdon with my two boys that ended it abject failure to achieve anything but spending money, neverthleess produced one saving grace:
jad, I just checked out your Flickr account and I must say that your photo’s are stunning. Some of the best photo’s I’ve seen for a while. The autumn light looks magical. Hats off to you sir.
Nice moving water shots. Love that technique. One of mine from aira force. Composition and stability could be better but was shooting from my hands with a toddler on my back in a rucksack.
My girlfriend runs a wee boutique and a supplier asked to get a few pics of her wearing their dress.
I liked this picture for its composition, the line of the building at the side of the vennel flows down to her legs, and I like the texture of the stone on the building on the left
Was over in the high desert in Colorado for a month – got so many good pictures, the land is beautiful.
I took my goo camera with me (An Olympus OMD) but didn’t use it once. I’d got a new phone (the original Google Pixel) and it took such good photos and is so easy to use and always with you. Quite liberating.
This was taken from a Greyhound bus. Got a weird vignette effect from the window tinting
Just wow
Technically, not a great picture but the composition is great. Like an album cover…
It looks like the tint is way off, but that was the colour of the light. And what a pair of rainbows!
No editing or filters or anything. The photo basically took itself! Has a weird hint of desolation
A bit “holiday photo” but the landscapes…..
From a Uranium prospecting hole
A friend’s selfie, but I love the bizarre level differences between us all
Love this thread and looking at the photos regularly posted. This is a selfie I took earlier today of my 2nd son and I. Found it pretty tricky to compose as I couldn’t see what I was shooting, but I’m fairly happy with how this one turned out.
