Will I notice an upgrade from 6GB to 8GB (£56) or am I wasting my cash?

What do you use your PC for, and is it being limited by the RAM currently? Also, what OS?

2 x 2GB of ram but I’d have to remove 2gb (2x1GB) to fit it in.

I didn’t realise how much the price of RAM has increased… My machine is running 2x4gb sticks of Corsair XMS3; cost me about £25 18 months ago – it’s £50 now!

DDR2 is still expensive. DDR3 is way cheaper
