On longer rides my feet kill me ( more so on the road bike) Has anyone tried these.

Its getting to the point were rides over 3hrs become torture sessions!!

Which bit of your foot is killing you?

if your in cleats, I find you have to make the effort to unclip and wiggle your foot about or sometimes spend a few minutes with the shoe uncliped and riding loose of the top of the pedal to allow the blood to flow back around your foot.

The cleats hold your foot so rigid that the pressure is very focussed compared to flats, so i too get sore feet on longer rides.

better off with the specialized footbeds as they come with varus/valgus wedges for supination/pronation. i use them in my road shoes to correct knee mistracking. they have a 'metatarsal hump' which feels a bit odd at first but they are very supportive and very comfortable. i wouldn't ride without them now
