On the road to recovery, now, and with the walking stick seeing less and less use, it’s time to start raising some cash. I have signed up for the relatively easy (to me in years gone by) Northern Rock Cyclone, there will be C2C’s, Great North runs, but in essence, stuff we all enjoy doing.
So why sponsor/donate? I agree, my first challange may be nowt to most, if not all of us, however, it’s huge to me now, and also, Guillain Barre, it’s all I have gone on about for the last few months, but trust me, it’s horrendous, and there’s not only me on this forum that has suffered from it, so please, do consider giving us a couple of quid.
Raffle type stuff would be wonderful. We would really appreciate that.
I’d rather buy our own Nutrition stuff as I don’t really feel comfortable getting things for myself out of it. Same as my GBS Support Network expensess sheet, I can’t see me claiming petrol money back off them!
Sorry Paul it must have been another crispybacon (the lucky git) 😉
Yes I did sponsor you for Cancer Research as I’m currently in remission myself, in fact I had my latest 3 monthly check up on Wednesday & all is well 😀
Crikey Paul another endurance event, well done mate.
I’ve entered the Plymouth Half Marathon in May for my first ever running event to raise money for Team Bullheart & The Sarcoma Trust – gulp!! gonna be joining the SAGA club in July if I survive 🙂
