I’m going to go for the Cotic Roadrat with Alfine hub but the only decision now is whether to go for it in orange (looks good, different to the rest of the bikes in my stable, but more nickable?) or black (can’t go wrong and more stealthy). Will be used for a commute and general pootling. Torn on this small decision.

Mine is black and covered with electrician’s tape.
I;m sure orange will look georgeous but very very noticeable if you leave it anywhere in the street.

Only yesterday, I was looking at a couple of these hanging up in TheBikeChain. One Alfine, one SS – and both looked great in the orange colourway.

Black, it’s only one step from orange to those oh so funny novelty cycling socks.

Orange.
I bought a Cotic X and chose black as I thought it would not date. Boring and you need a white saddle to give a bit of colour which means white tape which is a pain.
You wouldn’t be thinking of clashing saddle and tape would you?
