I find a double post followed by swift moderator intervention is the key to success.

Some stuff that makes it look normal instead of looking like I have just put my fingers in a plug socket.

Matt clay for me. Just a touch to keep my flowing locks in place.

🙂 Had to stop using wax, stuff doesn’t wash off, can’t get a decent grip on my wacom stylus. Having hair can be a right nuisance.

Nothing, not even shampoo. It’s in much better condition now than it ever was when I used “product”.

Nowhere near as much as i used to do when i was younger. The fingers in an electric socket look was the one i went for

Teeny bit of spray. Just to cover my hereditary (non-mpb!) baldpatch (thanks Dad).

Had to stop using wax as it was pulling my loosely attached locks out. Just use sweat now.

Matt paste/putty/fiber – same shit really.

American Crew make a nice expensive one, Vo5 make a nice cheapo £3 one. Both kinda do the same thing as far as i’m concerned.

    Touch of hair spray.

Gel is for 13 year olds.

Grade 1 every few weeks, otherwise it just grows into a dense curly hedge that no amount of hair product can control.

A very small amount of coconut oil. My lengthy Indian hair tends to go a bit wild otherwise.

Fudge, paste, putty, clay? WTF. Are we men?

Little dab of putty stuff at the start of the week. Then natural man-hair-grease takes over till the following week’s hair wash.

A quick rinse with whatever the wife has spent a fortune on it boots this week (I don’t bother with the conditioner) and brush whilst a bit damp – I used to use all sorts of weird and wonderful things in my 20’s but looking back a photos it was all terrible – best hair of my life at the moment.

Only downside, all the waxes and shit made it look slightly less grey – still, better grey than pink.

Natural for me. This does result in me looking like a fluffy newborn chick after a washing it, and the “dragged through a hedge backwards” look when getting out of bed. Fortunately I long ago abandoned any pretence of style, grooming, elegance.

More of a deep brown, I would think.

I go to the hairdresser and say “cut it so that I don’t need anything more than a comb and 5 seconds to make it work when I fall out of bed in the morning”

    @Northwind – haven’t combed my hair in 25 years !

A while back I had to go to a hairdresser and say “I’ve not had an actual haircut for 15 years- I don’t know what to do, what to ask for, I am a failure as a human adult- THINK FOR ME!” I’d got to the magic length where it falls out as fast as it grows 😆
